About the Role We are looking for a Db2 Systems Programmer with core, hands-on infrastructure background to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Perform installation, SMP/E maintenance, and version migrations for IBM Db2 for z/OS • Configure, tune, troubleshoot, and recover Db2 subsystems in coordination with IBM support • Support Db2 connectivity, disaster recovery exercises, and RACF security for Db2/IMS • Review implementation plans, validate changes, and guide DBAs/managed-service teams • Available for occasional overnight, weekend, and holiday maintenance support Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on Db2 for z/OS systems programming experience • Strong working knowledge of z/OS, JCL, REXX, TSO/ISPF, and SDSF/IOF • Must have personally owned Db2 systems infrastructure work Note: Candidates with experience focused primarily on SQL tuning, database design, or application support will not be considered.
