About the Role We are looking for an experienced Device & Embedded Systems Architect to join our team. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Android platform architecture, embedded systems, and large-scale device management. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Android platform architecture • Manage embedded systems and large-scale device management • Develop and maintain OTA updates, firmware updates, staged rollouts, and rollback mechanisms • Work with MDM/EMM platforms and device fleet management • Implement Embedded Linux, kernel modules, device trees, and hardware bring-up • Integrate device telemetry, MQTT/CoAP/HTTPS, and cloud integration • Manage Android lifecycle, BSP updates, and security patching Requirements • 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in embedded systems/device software/mobile platforms • Strong hands-on experience with Android AOSP customization, HAL, system services, and platform security • Expertise in OTA updates, firmware updates, staged rollouts, and rollback mechanisms • Experience with MDM/EMM platforms and large-scale device fleet management • Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux, kernel modules, device trees, and hardware bring-up • Experience with device telemetry, MQTT/CoAP/HTTPS, and cloud integration • Knowledge of Android lifecycle management, BSP updates, and security patching • IoT connectivity experience with BLE, Zigbee, Matter, or Wi-Fi is a plus • Strong architecture documentation and cross-functional technical leadership skills
