About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity supporting complex, secure, cloud-native infrastructure and deployment automation. Key Responsibilities • Support complex, secure, cloud-native infrastructure • Implement deployment automation • Troubleshoot AWS Glue job networking • Provide production incident support Requirements • Senior-level, hands-on DevOps and AWS cloud engineering experience • Public-sector experience is mandatory • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, deployment automation and production support skills • Ability to work within Ontario-based operational and security requirements • Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, AWS CDK, CloudFormation • Experience with AWS Containers, Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate, Docker, Amazon ECR • Experience with EC2 Auto Scaling, load balancing, task definitions • Experience with AWS Networking, VPCs, DNS, security groups, IAM • Experience with AWS KMS, encryption, secure cloud connectivity • Experience with AWS Data & Infrastructure Services including AWS Glue, Amazon Data Firehose, AWS DMS, Amazon S3, CloudFront, AWS WAF • Experience with CloudWatch monitoring, logging
