About the Role We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and performance of systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing • Manage and optimize infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using tools like Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana • Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SRE practices and improve system reliability Requirements • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) • Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Google Cloud Build • Good understanding of GCP networking, IAM, security, and cloud architecture • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting • Experience with Git and version control systems • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills • Understanding of Linux administration, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security fundamentals Preferred Qualifications • Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect • Experience implementing SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets • Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio • Exposure to cloud cost optimization, FinOps, and automated compliance • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments Key Competencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage complex cloud infrastructure and production environments • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration • Ability to work independently and take ownership of DevOps initiatives
