About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting solutions using Google Cloud Operations Suite (Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging). • Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, and Cloud SQL. • Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, service accounts, secrets management, and network security. • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to streamline software delivery and improve deployment processes. • Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting. • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, high availability, and business continuity initiatives. Requirements • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering. • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation. • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). • Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Google Cloud Build. • Good understanding of GCP networking, IAM, security, and cloud architecture. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana. • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting. • Experience with Git and version control systems. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills. • Understanding of Linux administration, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security fundamentals.
