About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong exposure to industrial IoT (IIoT) environments, particularly HiveMQ and HighByte Intelligence Hub. The resource will support deployment, automation, configuration, monitoring, and operational reliability of edge-to-cloud solutions connecting manufacturing/OT systems with enterprise and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, configure, automate, and maintain DevOps infrastructure supporting IIoT applications. • Deploy and administer HiveMQ MQTT broker environments, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and scalability. • Deploy and manage HighByte Intelligence Hub and associated industrial data pipelines. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments. • Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and configuration-management/automation tools such as Ansible. • Containerize workloads using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes. • Support edge-to-cloud data pipelines connecting PLC, SCADA, MES, historian, ERP, and cloud systems. • Configure and troubleshoot industrial connectivity using MQTT, OPC UA, REST APIs, TCP/IP, and related protocols. • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for infrastructure, MQTT brokers, edge applications, and data pipelines. • Work with engineering teams to improve availability, performance, security, scalability, and deployment consistency. Requirements • Strong hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience. • Hands-on experience with HiveMQ, including MQTT broker deployment/configuration and troubleshooting. • Experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub, ideally installation, configuration, deployment, upgrades, and operational support. • Strong understanding of MQTT architecture, topics, publishers/subscribers, QoS, connectivity, and security. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent. • Infrastructure automation using Terraform and/or Ansible. • Strong Linux administration and scripting skills. • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments. • Understanding of industrial/OT connectivity, particularly OPC UA and MQTT. • Experience supporting highly available, secure, production-grade environments.
