About the Role We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure, migration, and deployment automation for our Release Bot. This role requires deep expertise in AWS Cloud Engineering, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and API/Application Integrations. Key Responsibilities • Build, configure, and secure the AWS production environment (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM execution roles) to support Release Bot functions • Own the migration plan from discovery to decommissioning, migrating 4 key Lambda functions and API Gateway routes • Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configure GitHub Actions secrets and parallel deployment jobs for automated delivery • Update and validate critical application endpoints across Slack, Jira webhooks, and GitHub configuration access • Configure Datadog for robust observability • Validate system behavior through smoke, integration, and end-to-end release testing • Protect credentials and tokens via proper secret management • Produce comprehensive implementation notes, test evidence, risk decisions, and support documentation Requirements • Strong background as a DevOps Engineer with production-level experience in AWS Cloud Engineering (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM) • Proven experience managing application integrations, webhook configurations, and secret management across Slack, Jira, and GitHub • Ability to completely own an infrastructure migration lifecycle and coordinate with CloudOps/SRE, application owners, and security stakeholders • Dedication to infrastructure-as-code, secure logging practices, credential rotation, and maintaining high system availability during transitions Work Authorization (Must Be) - Green Card OR US Citizen
