About the Role We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join NextEra Energy. This role requires extensive experience in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu • Manage AWS cloud services and architecture • Write and maintain Chef cookbooks for configuration management • Implement and manage secrets management solutions • Work with observability platforms like New Relic Requirements • 5+ years of progressive experience in DevOps or SRE roles • Expert-level proficiency in Java build and deployment ecosystems • Deep expertise in Linux and container technologies • Strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture • Experience with GitLab CI, Terraform/OpenTofu, Chef, and AWS Secrets Manager • Experience with observability platforms, specifically New Relic
