DevOps & SRE Engineer

Position Title: Principal DevOps & SRE Engineer Location: India Duration: 6 Months Contract Join a leading Wholesale Banking domain team focusing on Payments, Cash Management, Channels, and APIs. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive end-to-end release and reliability engineering, blending DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, SRE, and AI/AIOps practices for secure and resilient production environments. Key Responsibilities: - Own and manage release processes across multiple environments including DEV, SIT, UAT, CERT, and PROD. - Design and govern release calendars, version strategies, rollback plans, and post-release validations. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines embedding security, quality, and compliance controls. - Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud and hybrid setups. - Apply SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and conduct blameless postmortems. - Lead observability initiatives using ELK stack for centralized logging, monitoring, and root cause analysis. - Leverage AI/AIOps for anomaly detection, alert noise reduction, and predictive monitoring. - Ensure audit readiness and compliance throughout the software development life cycle. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps and platform engineering teams.
