About the Role We are seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer with extensive experience in supporting customer-facing distributed systems. This role requires strong hands-on AWS experience and expertise in various DevOps tools and practices. Key Responsibilities • Review, test, and improve multi-region disaster recovery and failover processes • Validate resilience patterns such as circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, and timeouts • Plan and run chaos experiments and game days • Set up a performance and load testing practice • Analyze capacity and right-size container workloads • Contribute to and review infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) • Improve CI/CD and deployment safety • Automate operational toil • Strengthen operational security hygiene Requirements • 12+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or DevOps roles • Strong hands-on AWS experience: ECS/Fargate, load balancers, Route 53, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch • Production Terraform experience: modules, remote state, cross-workspace dependencies • Deep observability skills with at least one APM tool and one log analytics platform • Able to read and troubleshoot Java/Spring Boot services • Working knowledge of Kafka in production • Experience with blue/green or canary deployments and CI/CD tooling • Proven incident-handling experience and strong documentation skills • Scripting and automation in Python, Bash, or Go
