About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Django Lead with 9+ years of software development experience to lead the design and development of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will drive architecture decisions, mentor development teams, and deliver robust integration solutions across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities • Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Django applications • Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs • Lead development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices and coding standards • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions • Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures • Drive integration initiatives between internal applications, external systems, and cloud platforms • Develop and maintain system interfaces using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging queues, and middleware platforms • Optimize application performance, database design, and scalability • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure Requirements • 9+ years of hands-on experience in software development • Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework • Extensive experience in designing and consuming REST APIs, web services, and microservices • Strong experience with enterprise integrations, including third-party API integrations, ERP/CRM integrations, payment gateway integrations, and identity and access management integrations • Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and database optimization techniques • Experience with Azure Cloud Platform • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Terraform • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, and scalability principles
