About the Role We are looking for an experienced Django Developer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting Django-based applications. Key Responsibilities • Assess existing solutions and develop enhancements for Django applications • Support integrations and data migration • Implement secure coding practices and ensure smooth deployments • Configure existing functionality and develop enhancements in line with coding standards • Develop and support system integrations, including data mapping and validation • Support data migration, transformation, and reconciliation • Apply secure development practices and address security and compliance findings • Prepare and execute technical tests, support UAT, and resolve defects • Diagnose and resolve technical defects and incidents Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Django and Django-based application development • Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting web applications • Practical experience working in Linux environments • Experience using Docker for local development • Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security • Experience with APIs, system integrations, data validation, and troubleshooting • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Benefits • 6-month contract with possible extension • Hybrid work arrangement (2 days in the office and 3 days remote)
