About the Role We are seeking an experienced EDM/ETL Developer to join our team in Australia, focusing on Capital Markets applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain EDM/ETL frameworks and data integration pipelines • Build and optimise ETL workflows for market data, trade data, reference data and risk data • Develop data extraction, transformation, validation and loading processes • Integrate data across trading platforms, risk systems and downstream applications • Troubleshoot data quality, performance and production issues • Collaborate with Markets technology teams, business analysts and stakeholders • Implement data reconciliation, exception handling and monitoring mechanisms Requirements • Mandatory Domain Experience – Capital Markets • Prior experience working with Global Markets or Investment Banking applications • Understanding of financial instruments such as FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives • Knowledge of trade lifecycle, market data, reference data and pricing • Experience with Front Office, Middle Office or Back Office data integration • Strong hands-on experience with EDM/ETL frameworks • Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures and performance tuning • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS or equivalent platforms • Experience with Python, Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments • Strong understanding of data modelling, data mapping and data integration • Experience with batch processing, scheduling and production support
