About the Role We are looking for an experienced EDM/ETL Developer with strong Capital Markets domain knowledge for a contract opportunity in Australia. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain EDM/ETL frameworks and data integration pipelines • Build and optimise ETL workflows for market data, trade data, reference data, and risk data • Develop data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes • Integrate data across trading platforms, risk systems, and downstream applications • Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and production issues • Collaborate with Markets technology teams, business analysts, and stakeholders • Implement data reconciliation, exception handling, and monitoring mechanisms Requirements • 8+ years of experience in EDM/ETL development • Strong hands-on experience with EDM/ETL frameworks • Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning • Experience with Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, or equivalent ETL platforms • Experience with Python, shell scripting, and Unix/Linux environments • Strong understanding of data modelling, data mapping, and data integration • Experience with batch processing, scheduling, and production support • Prior experience working with Global Markets or Investment Banking applications • Strong understanding of financial instruments, including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives • Knowledge of trade lifecycle, market data, reference data, and pricing • Experience with Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office data integration • Familiarity with trade processing, positions, valuations, and risk reporting • Valid Australian work rights (visa sponsorship not available)
