About the Role We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with strong C++ programming expertise and experience in Linux-based embedded systems to develop software for advanced semiconductor test platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C and C++ • Develop software for Linux-based and embedded systems • Debug and optimize hardware/software integration issues • Work with multithreaded applications and system-level components • Collaborate with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers • Follow Agile development practices, including sprint planning, bug tracking, and release planning Requirements • Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded and system-level applications • Experience with Linux and embedded software development • Knowledge of multithreading, thread safety, debugging, and testing • Experience with hardware communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, or PCIe • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Experience with class design, object-oriented programming, and data type selection Preferred Qualifications • Python scripting for automation, testing, and tooling • Experience in semiconductor testing, instrumentation, or test automation • Experience integrating software with hardware components
