Engineering Manager

We are looking for a freelance Engineering Manager (No Agencies) who wants to help us accelerate our data ambitions. In this role you will guide our Data Domain teams as they continue their journey toward modern, cloud native ways of working. • These teams support several business domains in creating structured and harmonized datasets, and we see a great opportunity to help them grow further in methodology, collaboration and engineering maturity while keeping today’s solutions reliable and running smoothly. • You will support our Product Owners to strengthen alignment across domains and to ensure we build our data products as part of the broader engineering ecosystem rather than in isolation. • An important part of the assignment is helping us ensure the teams have the right mix of skills and mindset to move toward a more federated and business‑embedded way of working, reducing the gap between data producers and data consumers. We strongly believe that data is a core capability and should be integrated into the way we build technology across the organisation. To make that happen, you will collaborate closely with your fellow Engineering Manager from the data platform, the Manager Data Science and other Engineering Managers and Product Owners across the organisation.
