About the Role We are looking for an eTrading Platform Developer to join our team at Santander. This role involves developing server-side Java applications for trading platforms. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain server-side Java applications for eTrading platforms • Work with messaging technologies like Solace, Kafka, Aeron, and MQ • Utilize SQL, MS SQL, and Oracle databases • Implement DevOps practices using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and UrbanCode • Ensure low-latency trading platforms, pricing, RFQ processing, ECN connectivity, and STP Requirements • Strong server-side Java development experience • Experience with messaging technologies: Solace, Kafka, Aeron, MQ • Proficiency with SQL, MS SQL, and Oracle databases • DevOps experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and UrbanCode • Experience in low-latency trading platforms, pricing, RFQ processing, ECN connectivity, and STP • Front-office Fixed Income, Equities, or FX experience is a major plus • Excellent communication skills and an updated LinkedIn profile required
