I rarely post roles like this, but weβre expanding our freelance recruiter network.
A lot of freelance recruiters call themselves βfull-cycleβ. In reality, many are just sourcing with extra steps.
An experienced recruitment manager can see it immediately in the process:
β
strong profiles on paper,Β
but then a series of red flags:
π© weak or superficial screening
π© lack of control after submission
π© candidates ghost between intro call and offer
Sadly, most commonly hiring pipelines fail at candidate ownership and qualification. With a multitude of AI sourcing tools widely available, sourcing itself is becoming commoditized.
Running full-cycle recruitment properly requires a different skill set:
- assessing beyond keywords
- being able to challenge a candidate, not just βvalidateβ them
- mastering various interview techniques
- identifying candidate fraud
- staying present until the decision is made
Thatβs also why weβre expanding our network of freelance tech recruiters across Europe quite selectively.
This model only works with recruiters who can actually own the candidate side end-to-end:
first contact β qualification β process management β offer stage
What matters:
- how you evaluate people
- how you communicate with them
- whether you stay in control after submission
π²Itβs a success-based model (flat fee per hire).
Some recruiters flourish in this environment. Others donβt last long in it.
If someone comes to mind who actually works like this, Iβll likely want to speak with them.
