Frontend Engineer

Job Title : Engineer – Frontend Location : pune (onsite) Nightshift Role summary -Build and modernize web application user experiences as we move from a legacy .NET/C# stack to a modern React-based architecture. You will ship production-ready UI, collaborate closely with backend engineers, and uphold a high bar for quality, performance, and accessibility. Responsibilities ·        Build UI features using React (and Next.js where applicable) and TypeScript. ·        Work with existing .NET/C# backend services and APIs to integrate frontend functionality. ·        Implement responsive, accessible, and performant pages and reusable components. ·        Translate Figma designs into production UI with clear handling of loading/error/empty states. ·        Integrate with REST APIs; collaborate on API contracts to reduce rework. ·        Contribute to UI testing (unit/component/E2E) and CI discipline. ·        Help evolve component standards and patterns to prevent UI drift as the product grows. ·        Partner with backend engineers to understand and support API development within a .NET/C# environment. Required qualifications ·        Strong experience building production web apps with React + modern JavaScript/TypeScript. ·        Working familiarity with .NET/C# environments (ability to understand APIs, debug issues, and collaborate effectively with backend teams). ·        Experience with Next.js (preferred) and modern routing/data fetching patterns. ·        Solid CSS skills: Tailwind familiarity preferred. ·        Practical accessibility knowledge (WCAG-minded decisions). ·        Comfortable collaborating with designers and backend engineers. Nice-to-have ·        Experience contributing to or consuming APIs built with ASP.NET / .NET Core. ·        Design system experience — building reusable, modular UI components with theming (tokens/variables for colors, spacing, typography). ·        E2E testing experience (Playwright/Cypress). ·        Analytics/instrumentation experience. What success looks like ·        Ships high-quality pages quickly with low rework. ·        Establishes reusable UI patterns/components that accelerate delivery. ·        Improves UX consistency during the migration to React.
