About the Role We are looking for a .NET Application Developer to join our team for a contract position. This role requires 8+ years of experience in application development with strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Framework 4.x, .NET 8, and ASP.NET MVC • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services • Develop application UI components, business logic, service layers, and data-access layers • Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures • Modernize legacy applications through refactoring, code improvements, and migration to newer .NET technologies • Use Visual Studio for application development, debugging, and troubleshooting • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, and code reviews • Support application releases, deployments, production incidents, and ongoing maintenance Requirements • 8+ years of experience in application development with strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET technologies • Strong experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications using .NET Framework 4.x, .NET 8, and ASP.NET MVC • Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services • Strong frontend development experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience developing application UI components, business logic, service layers, and data-access layers • Strong experience working with Oracle and SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures • Experience modernizing legacy applications through refactoring, code improvements, and migration to newer .NET technologies • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, clean coding practices, and software design patterns • Experience using Visual Studio for application development, debugging, and troubleshooting • Strong knowledge of Git, version control, code reviews, and collaborative development practices • Experience developing and executing unit tests and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Experience participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, and code reviews • Experience supporting application releases, deployments, production incidents, and ongoing maintenance • Understanding of application security, coding standards, and software development best practices
