About the Role We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role involves rapid application development to enhance middle-office and operational processes, identify procedural gaps and risks, and ensure data accuracy from internal systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop applications to improve middle-office and operational processes • Identify procedural gaps and risks in business processes • Ensure accuracy of data generated by internal systems • Design and execute projects and initiatives with stakeholders and senior management • Collaborate with Global Operations Control team and external counterparts to improve processes Requirements • 8+ years of experience in full-stack development • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, AngularJS) • Experience with API development and integration • Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (Python with Django, Java with Spring, Node.js with Express) • Experience in designing applications for high volume and continuous operation • Experience in data transformation/manipulation using Python libraries (pandas, numpy) • Experience in database query tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting • 2+ years of experience in financial services with knowledge of financial instruments, securities, and derivatives • Exposure to market risk concepts, sensitivities, and trade lifecycle • Quick learner with ability to grasp new concepts and processes quickly • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • High sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
