About the Role We are seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer with a focus on SQL Server to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Key Responsibilities • Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries, including performance tuning on large enterprise data sets. • Create, modify, and troubleshoot SSRS reports and SSIS packages supporting business operations. • Develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using .NET technologies. • Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and middleware integrations. • Implement accessible code that meets WCAG 2.1 AA, and test with assistive technologies and automated tools. • Analyze and resolve complex production issues across multiple applications and environments, including data and reporting issues. • Build and enhance front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS, Sass, and JavaScript. • Modernize legacy applications and reduce technical debt, applying current best practices. • Manage source control, deployments, and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps. • Handle classified and sensitive data in accordance with state security and privacy requirements. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, QA teams, and technical staff to deliver reliable and secure solutions. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), design, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A graduate degree in HCI is preferred. Multiple degrees and certifications are valued. • Advanced SQL Server experience, including database design, complex stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning. This is the core skill of the role. • Strong experience creating and supporting SSRS reports and SSIS packages. • Demonstrated experience coding to WCAG 2.1 AA, including accessibility testing with screen readers such as JAWS and automated tools such as axe. Formal accessibility training is expected. Accessibility certification is preferred, including DHS Trusted Tester, IAAP WAS, or CPACC. • .NET development experience. C# experience is preferred. • Experience developing and consuming REST services. • Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS, Sass, and JavaScript, and UX and UI knowledge. • Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines. • Experience supporting enterprise production applications. • Experience handling classified or sensitive data in a regulated environment.
