About the Role We are seeking a senior, hands-on Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build a strategic AI-powered lending platform within financial services. The role focuses on developing an AI agent that extracts and interprets key terms from complex credit agreements to support automated loan processing. Key Responsibilities • Develop backend services using Java and Python and frontend applications using Angular • Build AI-powered applications using LLMs and AI coding agents such as OpenAI Codex and Claude • Design and integrate REST APIs, Kafka, and event-driven services • Develop scalable, resilient distributed applications and integrate data platforms such as Snowflake • Own solutions from prototyping and development through testing, deployment, and production support • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver production-ready solutions Requirements • 12+ years of professional software development experience • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Python, and Angular, with a stronger backend focus • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Kafka, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems • Experience with Snowflake or comparable data platforms • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications • Banking, financial services, capital markets, or lending experience • Exposure to credit agreements, loan servicing, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI-powered document processing • Docker/Kubernetes experience and greenfield platform development
