About the Role We are seeking a GCP Cloud Architect to join our client, CAPGEMINI, on a remote basis. This role requires extensive experience in cloud architecture and expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities • Lead, facilitate, analyze, and design tasks for developing seamless customer-centric solutions • Define, design, and deliver cloud architecture for enterprise applications • Oversee cloud computing strategy including adoption plans, application design, management, security, and monitoring • Steer architecture strategy as technology evolves • Act as a subject matter expert on GCP • Define conceptual, logical, and physical design for cloud-based solutions • Work with business units, developers, security, and infrastructure engineers • Provide cross training and knowledge transfer to colleagues Requirements • 14–20 years overall IT experience • 7+ years in Cloud Architecture • 5+ years designing and leading solutions on GCP • Expert-level knowledge of GCP and AWS architecture • Strong hands-on background in networking, security & IAM design, Kubernetes, and Terraform • Experience architecting large-scale production systems • Strong understanding of cloud cost management and DR failover • Excellent architecture documentation and communication skills
