About the Role We are looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer to join our team for a long-term contract. This role requires extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and hands-on GCP expertise. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions • Manage and maintain GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and VPC Networking • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Implement and manage security and access controls using IAM and Secret Manager • Monitor and optimize cloud resources using Datadog • Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality using SonarQube Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Systems Administration • 3+ years of hands-on GCP experience • Strong knowledge of Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC Networking, IAM, and Secret Manager • 3+ years of Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Strong GitHub and Git workflow knowledge • Experience working in Agile environments • Hands-on experience with Datadog for logging and observability • Experience with SonarQube or similar static code analysis tools • Bachelors degree required • Certification: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or HashiCorp Terraform Associate Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Albany, NY.
