About the Role We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Google Cloud Build, or similar tools • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) • Implement deployment automation, release management, and DevOps best practices • Monitor infrastructure and application performance using Google Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging • Manage IAM, service accounts, networking, firewall rules, and cloud security configurations • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production issues • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and delivery speed • Optimize cloud resource utilization, scalability, availability, and cost Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Shell • Experience with Git and source control management • Good understanding of Linux/Unix, networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and monitoring • Experience troubleshooting production environments and automating operational tasks Preferred Qualifications • Google Cloud certifications, such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect • Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux • Knowledge of Helm, Prometheus, and Grafana • Familiarity with Cloud Run and Cloud Functions • Understanding of SRE principles, incident management, and high-availability architectures
