About the Role
We are seeking a GIS Developer to join the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) team in Austin, TX. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing custom and COTS GIS applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance custom and COTS GIS applications
• Utilize Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and other related technologies
• Publish and optimize map services
• Work with ArcGIS Enterprise and database systems
Requirements
• 10–12+ years of experience in GIS application development
• Strong hands-on expertise in Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, ArcGIS REST API, ArcSDE
• Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#/.NET, and Streamlit
• Knowledge of Oracle/SQL/PL/SQL, Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, Agile, and FME
