About the Role We are looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer with strong experience in Python test automation, electromechanical systems, laboratory instrumentation, and 3D CAD fixture design. The ideal candidate will build automated test stations for wireless charging systems and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software issues. Key Responsibilities • Design and assemble custom test fixtures using CAD and rapid prototyping • Develop Python-based automated test frameworks for laboratory instrumentation • Integrate mechanical fixtures, actuators, and software test systems • Execute automated regression, charge stability, and protocol testing • Troubleshoot electromechanical, firmware, and software defects • Maintain reliable unattended test execution with automated recovery and error handling • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve defects and improve system reliability Requirements • 3+ years of experience testing complex electromechanical or embedded systems • Strong Python programming skills and experience building automated test frameworks from scratch • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as Siemens NX or SolidWorks • Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, fixture design, and jig assembly • Experience controlling laboratory instruments using SCPI, VISA/PyVISA, Serial, or USB • Experience integrating programmable power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, relays, actuators, and sensors • Strong system testing and defect isolation skills across hardware, firmware, and software • Experience creating test plans, executing regression tests, and documenting defects • Knowledge of Git and automated testing workflows
