About the Role We are seeking detail-oriented professionals for a remote project opportunity as HEDIS Medical Record Abstractors. This role involves reviewing and abstracting clinical information from medical records for HEDIS reporting. Key Responsibilities • Review and abstract clinical information from medical records for HEDIS reporting • Coordinate with provider offices to obtain medical records and follow up on submissions • Enter abstracted data accurately into the designated software • Maintain productivity, accuracy, and project deadlines • Identify documentation trends and areas for improvement Requirements • 1–3 seasons of medical record auditing and abstraction experience • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret medical records • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe Reader • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and protect confidential patient information
