About the Role We are looking for an experienced IAM Engineer to join our team. This role involves administering and supporting StrongDM in an enterprise environment, with a focus on cloud security and identity management. Key Responsibilities • Administer and support StrongDM in an enterprise environment • Implement and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts, including privileged access controls, least privilege, session auditing, and access governance • Work with AWS services and cloud security, including IAM roles, policies, and permissions • Manage Kubernetes environments, including cluster access, namespaces, RBAC, and authentication and authorization mechanisms • Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting • Ensure understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, federation, authentication, and authorization • Troubleshoot secure connectivity to cloud infrastructure, databases, and other enterprise resources • Maintain familiarity with Linux environments, networking fundamentals, DNS, TLS/SSL, and TCP/IP • Utilize Git, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation Requirements • 13+ years of experience in IAM engineering • Hands-on experience with StrongDM • Strong understanding of PAM concepts • Practical experience with AWS services and cloud security • Experience with Kubernetes • Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, federation, authentication, and authorization • Experience troubleshooting secure connectivity • Familiarity with Linux environments, networking fundamentals, DNS, TLS/SSL, and TCP/IP • Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation
