About the Role We are looking for an experienced inpatient coder to join our team at a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital. This is an opportunity to grow into an Inpatient Lead Coder role with a focus on auditing and coding complex inpatient cases. Key Responsibilities • Perform auditing of inpatient coding with potential to transition to a 50% coding / 50% auditing split • Grow into a lead-level position with training and support provided • Work with complex inpatient cases in a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital setting Requirements • Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience in a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital • Active AHIMA certification required • Epic experience required • 3M 360 experience required • Strong understanding of complex inpatient cases Schedule • Monday–Friday • Shifts must start between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM CST • No late evenings or overnight shifts
