About the Role Cogency is seeking experienced Intelligence Analysts for an AI training and evaluation project focused on national security, intelligence analysis, and government decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate AI-generated intelligence assessments and national security scenarios for accuracy, realism, and analytical quality • Review and validate intelligence reports, threat assessments, and strategic analyses • Identify gaps, unsupported conclusions, inconsistencies, and analytical biases in AI-generated content • Assess source credibility, analytical reasoning, and communication of uncertainty • Provide structured feedback to improve AI-generated assessments and decision-making scenarios • Review and refine scenario-based materials to reflect realistic intelligence and national security challenges Requirements • Current or prior professional experience in a civilian intelligence agency, especially in analysis, threat assessment, or national security • Expertise in strategic intelligence, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, geopolitical analysis, or national security threats • Experience producing or reviewing intelligence assessments, analytical reports, or briefings for government decision-makers • Strong understanding of intelligence methodologies, source evaluation, analytical tradecraft, and agency procedures • Excellent analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and written communication skills • Ability to evaluate complex information and communicate findings clearly and objectively
