About the Role We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join ApexCore Technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications, REST APIs, and enterprise backend services. Key Responsibilities • Develop backend services, business logic, and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot • Build and maintain Spring-based applications and service integrations • Implement persistence layers using Hibernate/JPA and optimized SQL queries • Develop scalable microservices and reusable backend components • Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito • Troubleshoot production defects, performance bottlenecks, and application issues • Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding standards • Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and development teams • Support application builds, deployments, and release readiness Requirements • 9+ years of professional software development experience • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot • Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend integrations • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and relational databases • Understanding of microservices architecture and backend security • Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Maven/Gradle, and Git • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
