About the Role International is seeking a skilled and collaborative Java Backend Developer to join their global engineering team. This role involves designing and maintaining high-performance, scalable distributed systems in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable microservices architectures to support high-volume business operations • Collaborate with frontend developers and system architects to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic • Optimize applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while performing thorough peer code reviews • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate these issues promptly • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance Requirements • Expertise in Java and Core Java principles • Proven experience building enterprise-grade applications using Spring Boot and Spring MVC • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and deploying Microservices • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation • Solid grasp of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate • Commitment to writing automated tests (Unit, Integration) to ensure code quality Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Knowledge of messaging queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ • Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps cultures • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
