About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong backend development expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Microservices. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement backend systems using Java and Spring Boot • Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs • Work with Apache Kafka for event streaming • Utilize PostgreSQL, JPA, and Hibernate for database operations • Implement Spring Batch and Resilience4j for batch processing and resilience • Ensure security using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT • Work with AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions, and CodeBuild for deployment and CI/CD • Collaborate with frontend team using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS • Write unit tests using JUnit 5, Spring Boot Test, and Playwright • Handle Kafka producers/consumers, retries, DLTs, and idempotency • Use NgRx, PrimeNG, Angular Material, and Tailwind CSS for frontend • Work with Schema Registry, Avro/JSON schemas, and Amazon MSK • Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentoring Requirements • Strong experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot • Experience with microservices and REST APIs • Proficiency with Apache Kafka and Spring Kafka • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, JPA, and Hibernate • Experience with Spring Batch and Resilience4j • Understanding of Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions, and CodeBuild • Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS • Knowledge of JUnit 5, Spring Boot Test, and Playwright • Experience with Kafka producers/consumers, retries, DLTs, and idempotency • Familiarity with NgRx, PrimeNG, Angular Material, and Tailwind CSS • Experience with Schema Registry, Avro/JSON schemas, and Amazon MSK • Technical leadership, design reviews, and mentoring skills Role Focus: Approximately 75–80% backend development and 20–25% Angular frontend development. Candidates with experience in transportation, rail, or logistics are preferred.
