About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and supporting Java-based microservices and REST APIs. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and support Java-based microservices and REST APIs • Integrate applications with internal and external systems • Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and participate in on-call support • Perform code reviews and mentor team members on development best practices • Support deployments, release activities, and CI/CD processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Requirements • 7+ years of software development experience • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices • Experience with PostgreSQL and Kafka/Event-Driven Architecture • Proficiency in Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Splunk, and production support • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
