About the Role We are seeking a Java Developer for a 12-month contract position with a direct client. This role requires strong backend development skills and experience with modern web technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop robust backend systems using Java and Spring Framework • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services • Implement frontend components with React and JavaScript • Work with databases including Oracle and PL/SQL • Deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines • Integrate with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Requirements • 5+ years of Java development experience • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate • Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL • Familiarity with Apache Tomcat and web services • Experience with microservices architecture • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration • Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture Benefits • 12-month contract position • Opportunity to work with a direct client • Potential for long-term engagement
