About the Role We are looking for a strong Java Developer with Healthcare and PBM domain experience for a long-term remote opportunity. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Java applications for healthcare and PBM systems • Implement solutions using Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs • Work with Pharmacy Claims Processing and Eligibility platforms • Utilize Kafka and Event-Driven Architecture for system integration • Apply Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment • Provide Production Support, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis • Implement CI/CD and modern software engineering practices • Leverage AI-DLC / AI-Assisted Development tools Requirements • 10+ years of Java development experience • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs • Healthcare and PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) experience • Experience with Pharmacy Claims Processing and Eligibility platforms • Kafka/Event-Driven Architecture knowledge • Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) experience • Production Support, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis skills • CI/CD and modern software engineering practices knowledge • AI-DLC / AI-Assisted Development experience (GitHub Copilot, AI coding tools, etc.) • Client Background Required: Candidate must have worked with at least one of the following organizations for approximately 2+ years: CVS Health / CVS Caremark, Walgreens
