About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing applications using Java technologies in a Tomcat environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop Java applications using Servlets and JSP • Work with JavaScript, JDBC, SQL, and Gradle • Implement front-end solutions using React, CSS Modules, and React Query • Utilize Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes • Build against design-token sources that generate CSS, Swift, and Android outputs Requirements • Experience in Java programming and a Tomcat environment • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JDBC, SQL, Gradle, HTML, React, and CSS Design Tokens • Experience with Spring Boot, Tomcat, Spring Data JPA, and Containers/Docker/Kubernetes • Front-end experience with React, CSS Modules, and React Query • Experience working with RESTful web services, JSON, and XML • Familiarity with API security using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC with PKCE and per-endpoint scope enforcement • Experience with retail/e-commerce is highly preferred Benefits • 12+ month contract with high likelihood for extension or conversion
