About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer with Spring Boot expertise to join a banking project in Kuala Lumpur. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Java technologies and microservices. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices • Work with SQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL • Utilize JPA/Hibernate, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for development • Debug, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical problems Requirements • Minimum 5 years of relevant Java development experience • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework • Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices • Knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL) • Experience with JPA/Hibernate, Git, and CI/CD pipelines • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Banking or financial services experience is an added advantage
