About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team at J&M Group in Montreal, QC. This role requires significant experience with Java technologies and modern development practices. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Java applications using Core Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot • Work with Web Services, Relational Databases, and Microservices architecture • Implement solutions for Distributed Systems and leverage Generative AI Coding Assistants • Utilize Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Containerization technologies • Perform Unit Testing and collaborate with DevOps teams Requirements • 7–15 Years of Experience in Java development • Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Web Services • Experience with Relational Databases and Angular/React • Understanding of Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Agile methodologies • Proficiency with DevOps tools, Linux, Shell Scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
