About the Role We are seeking a Java Developer with extensive experience in the Financial Services domain to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves developing scalable cloud-native applications and building microservices. Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable cloud-native applications on GCP • Build microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Pub/Sub • Work on database solutions using PostgreSQL and BigQuery • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives Requirements • 10+ years of hands-on Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot development • Strong experience with Microservices Architecture • Experience with GCP, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Docker • Proficiency in GitHub Actions (CI/CD) • Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and BigQuery • Knowledge of Python • API design, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems experience • Financial Services / Banking experience is mandatory Preferred • Agile/Scrum experience • Cloud migration and modernization exposure
