About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join StoneX Financials for a long-term contract position. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable Java microservices on cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Develop and maintain Java microservices • Work with relational databases and ORM tools • Utilize version control systems and CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with the team on microservices architecture Requirements • 5+ years of experience in J2EE • Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and related Spring frameworks • Experience with RESTful API design and development • Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate) • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) • Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred Skills • Experience with microservices architecture • Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (JUnit, Mockito) • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
