About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Downtown NYC. This role involves developing robust, scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop robust, scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and global IT teams. • Contribute to architecture, integration design and technical planning. • Perform hands-on coding, testing and code-quality improvements. • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies. • Follow development best practices and DevOps integration standards. Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Java development. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. • Experience with Core Java, J2EE/JEE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Enterprise Server-Side Application Development. • Knowledge of Design Patterns, System Architecture, RESTful Web Services, SOAP, XML, XPath, XSLT, JSON, and Apache Tomcat. • Proficiency in SQL Queries (Sybase or DB2 preferred). • Experience with JUnit, Test Coverage, and Profiling Tools. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and JIRA. • Exposure to AI Tools and Models.
