About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Pasadena, CA. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality Java code for enterprise applications, microservices, and batch processing systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain software by writing, debugging, and maintaining high-quality Java code • Implement object-oriented designs to build scalable and maintainable software • Design and develop microservices-based applications • Develop and manage batch processing systems • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Contribute to projects following the Waterfall methodology as required • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers • Document code, processes, and procedures for future reference and maintenance • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in Java development, with significant experience in Spring framework • Proven experience with object-oriented coding practices, microservices, batch processing, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills
