About the Role We are looking for a seasoned Java engineer to design and build enterprise-scale, event-driven systems. This role focuses on creating distributed systems that are fast, resilient, and scalable. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable applications using Java + Spring Boot • Architect event-driven solutions with Apache Kafka • Build highly available, fault-tolerant microservices • Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and drive engineering best practices • Partner with architects and product teams on the technology roadmap Requirements • 14+ years in Java/J2EE development • Deep expertise in Java 8/11/17, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM tuning • Strong Spring ecosystem (Boot, MVC, Security, Data) • Hands-on Kafka: Streams, Connect, Schema Registry, event-driven architecture • Microservices + REST APIs at scale • Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes • SQL & NoSQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) • CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) • Monitoring: Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus
