About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Plano, TX, on a 100% onsite contract basis. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development and enterprise application development, preferably within the banking or financial services domain. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices • Work with SQL, relational databases, and database optimization • Utilize messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ • Implement solutions on cloud platforms (AWS preferred) • Follow CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle • Apply Agile methodologies in development processes Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development • Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate • Extensive experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and database optimization • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Agile methodologies • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming • Experience in developing, debugging, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale enterprise applications • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
