About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join a leading financial client in Weehawken, NJ. This is a long-term contract position requiring on-site presence. Key Responsibilities • Develop core backend Java applications • Work with Java 17 and 21 technologies • Implement microservices and multithreading solutions • Utilize Spring and Spring Boot frameworks • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Apply design patterns effectively Requirements • 6+ years of experience in Java Development • Strong experience with Java 17/21 • Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks • Excellent skills in Microservices and Multithreading • Strong understanding of design patterns • Experience with MVC frameworks like Spring Boot MVC • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture • Banking/Financial industry experience is a plus
