About the Role We are seeking a Java Developer with AI expertise to join our team for a 24-month contract. This role requires healthcare domain experience and focuses on developing responsive web applications and AI-powered capabilities for care management. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop responsive web applications for care management users • Integrate frontend solutions with backend services and enterprise APIs • Build AI-powered capabilities that improve productivity and clinical workflows • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and interoperability teams • Participate in solution design, development, testing, and production deployment Requirements • Healthcare domain experience (payer, care management, utilization management, or population health solutions) • Experience with Angular (preferred latest versions) for frontend development • Java / Spring Boot for middleware and API development • Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management, Storage, Azure AI Services) • REST API design and integration • Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines • SQL and data integration experience • Strong understanding of secure healthcare application development • AI Experience (building AI-powered applications and workflow automation) • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI and agent-based architectures • Experience implementing conversational assistants, summarization, document intelligence, and knowledge retrieval solutions • Ability to integrate AI services into existing business workflows • Experience with HL7 FHIR APIs and healthcare interoperability standards • Case management or care coordination platforms • HIPAA-compliant application development
