About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with Angular to join our team in Montreal. This role requires strong backend development expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Develop microservices architecture • Work with Angular for frontend development • Utilize SQL and relational databases • Implement CI/CD and automated testing • Apply DevOps practices • Work with Kafka and Elasticsearch • Troubleshoot and solve technical problems • Collaborate in Agile environments Requirements • Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot • Hands-on experience with Angular • REST API development and Microservices Architecture • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge • Experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch • CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices • Knowledge of cloud environments and OpenTelemetry • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Experience working in Agile environments • Financial services or enterprise application experience is a plus.
